Brighten up your terrariums!

Here's a simple way to add an accent to your terrarium. Layer different color sand or gravel in the bottom of the container.  After you put in the bottom few layers, add the plants.  Then add a few more layers to cover the dirt and roots.  Next push a pencil or chopstick into the sand so that the colors form a design.  Add any other items you'd like.

That's it!

Our workshop will be conducted by Timm Johnson, long-time bonsai enthusiast (We like to call him our Bonsai guru!) and member of three local bonsai societies.  He has also been the bonsai instructor for the Sacramento Parks and Recreation District for the past 10 years .

The workshop will be held on the Exotic Plants showroom premises where you can see a stunning array of unique orchids and other plants you won't find anywhere else.
