For those who missed it ... here are few important tips to keep your houseplants happy this Spring! Your indoor, tropical, houseplants may have struggled this winter and are looking poorly. Don't dispair ... a little time set aside to care for them now, will result in happy plants this summer. Exotic Plants would like to remind you of a few easy tips to keep your green friends happy. We recommend setting aside a certain day of the week to care for and water your plants. Like Sunday afternoons ... always check in with your plants, start with a simple dusting with a clean cloth, most importantly .... plants require water weekly, some may need a small splash, some who sit in high light may need a big soaking. So ... keep the soil damp, make sure they are getting good light, and give them a mild dose of fertilizer/nutrients to help them thrive! Now is a good time to trim away any unsightly leaves with clean scissors too. These few tips can keep your plants shining this summer and you enjoying the beauty of green plants.
